The Key Green Solutions Sustainability Management Excellence Awards were presented in Denver, CO, at the Key Green Solutions reception on May 1, 2012.
University of Maryland Medical Center has been honored with a “Sustainability Management Excellence” Award 2012 from Key Green Solutions. The Management Excellence Award recognizes health systems that are successfully measuring, setting system goals, benchmarking, and creating a culture of sustainability.
“This award demonstrates University of Maryland Medical Center’s commitment to their
patients and community through their system-wide sustainability initiatives” said Jeff Burks, Relationship Manager of Key Green Solutions. “Ms. Denise Choiniere and her leadership team have developed UMMC into one of the nation’s premier healthcare organizations in sustainability”.
